Very important is a road loss of second ranked Helsingborg (8-5) against seventh ranked Huddinge (6-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Helsingborg was defeated by Huddinge in Huddinge 77-64. The game was mostly controlled by Huddinge. Helsingborg managed to win third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Huddinge looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Helsingborg's players. The winners were led by Adam Fontaine (-95) who scored that evening 15 points and 8 rebounds and guard Mehmet Dilek (186-94) supported him with 14 points and 8 assists. Even 36 points (!!!) (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) by point guard Anton Persson (180-97) did not help to save the game for Helsingborg. Point guard Rami Saleh-Aldin (176-97) added 12 points for lost side. Huddinge moved-up to fifth place in BEHS forts, which they share with Lobas and Boras II. Loser Helsingborg keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Wetterbygden. Huddinge will meet Brahe Basket (#9) in the next round. Helsingborg will play against Boras II (#6) and hope to secure a win.
