Everything could happen in Santiago de Camp. at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Estudiantes L. and 11th ranked Rosalia had identical 2-8 record. But Rosalia was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Lugo 68-59 on Saturday night. Rosalia trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 18-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 59-68 at the end of the game. Serbian forward Dusan Juzbasic (201-99, agency: Beo Basket) fired 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jose Antonio Lopez (190-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and guard Javier Patino (190-92) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Estudiantes L. (3-8) moved-up to ninth place in Group A-B. Loser Rosalia keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Estudiantes L. will face higher ranked Leon (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rosalia will play against Vigren (#4) and hope to win that game.
