Second Stage Round 4: IK Eos - KFUM Uppsala 69-73

Very expected game when 6th ranked IK Eos (1-4) lost to first ranked KFUM Uppsala (6-1) in Lund 69-73 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 18-9 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for guard Lukas Friberg (190-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Alan Zekovic contributed with 16 points for the winners. David Terins (192-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for IK Eos. IK Eos' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. KFUM Uppsala maintains first position in Superettan with 6-1 record. Loser IK Eos keep the sixth place with four games lost. KFUM Uppsala will face league's second-placed Solna Branten on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. IK Eos will play against Eskilstuna (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
