Regular Season Round 34: Panteras - Halc.Rojos 73-70

Bottom-ranked Panteras managed to get the second consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they edged fourth-ranked Halcones Rojos in Aguascalientes 73-70. F Misael had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Panamanian Levour Warren (196-81, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Devin Sweetney (198-87, college: St.Francis, PA) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jose Gutierrez (197-88) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Panteras (8-22) moved-up to tenth place. Halcones Rojos at the other side keep the fourth position with 15 games lost. Panteras are looking forward to face higher ranked Correcaminos (#9) in Ciudad Victoria in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Halcones Rojos will play at home against Jefes (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
