There was no surprise when 7th ranked Lyon (7-7) was defeated on the road by second ranked Bourges (12-2) 72-62. Lyon was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 37-26 second half run of Bourges. They made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for British Johannah Leedham (180-87, college: Franklin Pierce) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. American-Serbian forward Danielle Page (188-86, college: Nebraska) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Bourges players scored in double figures. Bourges' coach Valerie Garnier allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
