Rather expected game when 9th ranked Irpino (6-11) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Viterbo (9-8) 72-61 on Saturday. Irpino was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 17-11 charge of Viterbo, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 13-2. Viterbo forced 23 Irpino turnovers. Bulgarian forward Roksana Yordanova (184-84) stepped up and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Giulia Ciavarella (181-97) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds. Latvian center Ance Celmina (190-91, college: S.Mississippi) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and forward Eleonora Zanetti (180-94) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Irpino players scored in double figures. Viterbo maintains seventh place in A2 with 9-8 record. Loser Irpino dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost.
