Regular Season Round 19: Mola - Giulianova 76-78

Very expected game when 15th ranked Mola (4-15) was edged at home by ninth ranked Giulianova (9-11) 78-76 on Sunday. Strangely Mola outrebounded Giulianova 35-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for point guard Danilo Gallerini (185-80) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!). Guard Lorenzo Bartoli (197-94) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Nicola Bastone (195-92) answered with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Francesco Didonna (190-94) added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Mola. Giulianova moved-up to eighth place in B. Loser Mola dropped to the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. Giulianova will face higher ranked Campli (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mola will play against the league's second-placed San Severo (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
