Second Stage Round 4: LF Future - Eskilstuna 98-81

No shocking result in a game when third ranked LF Future (5-2) beat 6th ranked Eskilstuna (1-5) in Lulea 98-81 on Sunday. The game without a history. LF Future led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. LF Future forced 25 Eskilstuna turnovers. Strangely Eskilstuna outrebounded LF Future 42-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a very good performance for point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. Guard Joel Svensson (185-94) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four LF Future players scored in double figures. LF Future's coach let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. British-Cameroonian forward Franck Kouagnia (201-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Hannes Widell (183-94) added 21 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Eskilstuna. LF Future maintains third position in Superettan with 5-2 record having seven points less than leader Alvik Basket. Loser Eskilstuna dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. LF Future will face Talje Knights (#7) at home in the next round. Eskilstuna will play against IK Eos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
