The game with biggest result difference took place in Dongguan. Local Guandong Tigers (26-10) outscored 16th ranked Jiangsu TX (11-25) 112-85 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 112-85. Guandong Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu TX's 54. Guandong Tigers forced 27 Jiangsu TX turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Jianlian Yi (212-87) who scored 31 points and 6 steals. Guandong Tigers' coach Feng Du felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, agency: Priority Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds and Palestinian center Sani Sakakini (204-88) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Five Guandong Tigers and four Jiangsu TX players scored in double figures. Guandong Tigers maintains fifth position with 26-10 record. Jiangsu TX lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 25 games lost. Guandong Tigers will face bottom-ranked Foshan (#20) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Jiangsu TX will play against the league's second-placed Sichuan BW (#2) and hope to win that game.
