We should mention about the upset which took place in Mar del Plata, where higher ranked Boca Juniors (15-17) lost to tenth ranked Quilmes MP (11-21) in a road game 85-89. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Boca Juniors won third quarter 25-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Quilmes MP won last quarter 24-21. They made 28-of-35 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Boca Juniors helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by American Walter Baxley (193-84, college: Mars Hill) who scored that evening 23 points and 9 rebounds and international guard Lucas Vildoza (190-95) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Even 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by point guard Jonatan Treise (186-85) did not help to save the game for Boca Juniors. Center Kevin Hernandez (204-91) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Quilmes MP maintains tenth position with 11-21 record. Boca Juniors lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
