Second Stage Round 4: Lobas - RIG Mark 78-71

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked RIG Mark's (1-8) road loss to seventh ranked Lobas (6-6) in Lomma 71-78 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-71. Lobas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to RIG Mark's 30. They outrebounded RIG Mark 44-32 including 29 on the defensive glass. RIG Mark was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for guard Jesper Wennerholm (188-96) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. Martin Nilsson (-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Lobas players scored in double figures. Swingman Kevin Senghore-Peterson (194-98) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and guard Alexander Karras (187-98) added 14 points in the effort for RIG Mark. Lobas moved-up to fifth place in BEHS forts, which they share with Boras II and Huddinge. RIG Mark at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Lobas will face again RIG Mark (#8) in Kinna in the next round.
