Very important is a road loss of second ranked Vanoli Cremona (12-6) against tenth ranked Juvecaserta (8-10) on Sunday night. Visiting Vanoli Cremona was defeated by Juvecaserta in a tough game in Caserta 64-73. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vanoli Cremona. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-13 Vanoli Cremona's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 73-64 at the end of the game. American point guard Peyton Siva (185-90, college: Louisville) notched 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Dario Hunt (206-89, college: Nevada) supported him with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Juvecaserta players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds by American swingman Deron Washington (201-85, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Priority Sports) did not help to save the game for Vanoli Cremona. The former international center Marco Cusin (211-85, agency: Interperformances) added 9 points and 7 rebounds. Juvecaserta moved-up to ninth place, which they share with AV Cantu and Enel Brindisi. Vanoli Cremona at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with Giorgo Tesi PT. Juvecaserta will play against league's second-placed Armani Milano on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
