No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked ALM Evreux (9-6) beat on the road 14th ranked Nantes (6-9) 91-84 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. ALM Evreux outrebounded Nantes 39-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Senegalese power forward Babacar Niang (206-91, agency: Comsport) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. American guard B.A. Walker (188-84, college: VCU) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. Naturalized Mali Sambou Traore (198-79) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Nantes. Nantes' coach Franck Collineau tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. ALM Evreux have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 9-6 record. Loser Nantes keeps the fourteenth position with nine games lost. ALM Evreux will face Lille Metropole (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nantes will play against Souffelweyersheim and hope to win that game.
