Regular Season Round 19: Falconara - Ortona 97-81

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Ortona (12-7) lost on the road to third ranked Falconara (15-4) 97-81 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for guard Filippo Alessandri (190-89) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 assists. Guard Vincenzo Di Viccaro (191-84) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Arcangelo Leo (203-81) answered with 19 points and naturalized Argentinian point guard Victorio Gustavo Musso (185-84) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ortona. Five Falconara and four Ortona players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Falconara maintains third place in B with 15-4 record having just two points less than leader Forli. Ortona at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Falconara will face Valmontone (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ortona will play against Bisceglie (#11) and hope to win that game.
