Regular Season Round 19: Scauri - Roma S.Azzurra 70-63

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Roma S.Azzurra (7-12) lost on the road to eighth ranked Scauri (11-8) 70-63 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for the former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Leonardo Salvadori (198-93) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Emanuele Trapani (180-99) answered with 21 points and center Tommaso Guariglia (206-97) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Roma S.Azzurra. Five Scauri and four Roma S.Azzurra players scored in double figures. Scauri moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with Vicenza. Loser Roma S.Azzurra dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Scauri will face league's second-placed Napoli Basket on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Roma S.Azzurra will play against Scafati Cesarano (#6) and hope to win that game.
