Very important is a road loss of third ranked HyPo (11-6) against ninth ranked Pyrinto (3-15) on Sunday night. Visiting HyPo was edged by Pyrinto in a tough game in Tampere 52-54. HyPo was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 16-9 charge of Pyrinto, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 HyPo turnovers. It was a good game for American forward Mollie Williams (187-90, college: Washington) who led her team to a victory with 14 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import forward Keira Peak (175-91, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Laura Saarinen (186-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Bria Goss (178-92, college: Kentucky, agency: Merit Management Group) added 9 points in the effort for HyPo. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pyrinto maintains ninth position with 3-15 record. HyPo at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Pyrinto will play against league's second-placed ViVe in Vimpeli in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. HyPo will play at home against Tapiolan Honka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
