There was no surprise in Azpeitia where 14th ranked Getafe (2-14) was defeated by sixth ranked Sammic ISB (10-6) 66-60 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. French-American forward Jordan Semple (201-92, college: Chico St.) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Ibon Guridi (193-92) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Victor Moreno (195-98) produced 20 points and 6 assists and American-Haitian Marvin Dominique (201-91, college: St.Peter's, agency: Duran International) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sammic ISB moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Getafe lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Sammic ISB will face Cambados (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Getafe will play against Clinicas Rincon and hope to win that game.
