Regular Season Round 25: Froya Basket - Fyllingen BBK 94-76

The game with biggest result difference took place in Laksevag. Local Froya Basket (10-5) beat 10th ranked Fyllingen BBK (4-13) 94-76. The game was mostly controlled by Froya Basket. Fyllingen BBK was better in third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Froya Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Peter Bullock (198-82, college: Alaska-Anch.) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Latvian swingman Juris Umbrasko (197-79) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Froya Basket's coach Brent Hackman allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Calvin Henry (198-86, college: Mercer) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import forward Harold Jenkins (, college: Fond du Lac) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Fyllingen BBK. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Froya Basket. They maintain fifth place with 10-5 record. Newly promoted Fyllingen BBK keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Froya Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fyllingen BBK will play on the road against Tromso (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
