Regular Season Round 8: Tadamon - Louaize 91-95

Bottom-ranked Louaize managed to get the second consecutive victory on Thursday night. This time newly promoted Louaize won against fifth-ranked Tadamon 95-91. And what about a second win in a row after ...six consecutive losses. Louaize forced 19 Tadamon turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Geron Johnson (190-92, college: Memphis) who helped to win the game recording 41 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and the other American import forward Alex Okafor (202-87, college: Princeton) who added 16 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Serbian swingman Branko Cvetkovic (200-84) responded with 41 points (!!!) and Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds. Louaize (2-6) moved-up to eighth place. Tadamon at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Byblos. Louaize will meet at home bottom-ranked Champville (#9) in the next round. Tadamon will play against Homenetmen (#3) in Beirut and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
