No shocking result in a game when thirteenth ranked Liga Sorocaba (6-13) beat on the road bottom-ranked Macae (4-15) 90-83 on Thursday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-83. It was a good game for guard Arlindo Neto (187-86) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 assists. American forward Christopher Gradnigo (200-89, college: Co.Carolina) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Liga Sorocaba's coach Rinaldo Rodrigues used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Eddy Carvalho (196-87) answered with 26 points and 4 assists and the former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) added 11 points and 7 assists in the effort for Macae.
