Fourteenth-ranked Caxias do Sul (5-15) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (16-4). The visitors from Bauru managed to secure only one-point victory 84-83. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Caxias do Sul won third quarter 26-24.
