Regular Season Round 38: North Control B. - Zhejiang CB 120-105

An interesting game took place in Beijing where higher ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (22-16) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked North Control (13-25) 120-105. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. The game was mostly controlled by North Control. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank was better in fourth quarter 29-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. North Control players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Dorell Wright (206-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Uruguayan-Spanish power forward Esteban Batista (208-83, agency: Duran International) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and Iranian forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) added 22 points in the effort for Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Four North Control and five Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank players scored in double figures. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's coach rotated twelve players and allowed the starting five to rest. North Control maintains fifteenth position with 13-25 record. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank at the other side keeps the eighth place with 16 games lost.
