Second defeat of league's leader Corinthians/Americana (8-2) against third ranked America de Recife (8-2) 90-67 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Corinthians/Americana. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Corinthians/Americana 42-24 including 29 on the defensive glass.
