The game between closely ranked teams ended with Limbazi's (4-5) home victory over Pardaguava (4-6) 81-64 on Friday. Limbazi forced 21 Pardaguava turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Point guard Armands Osins (190-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Rolands Brencs (197-86) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Inguss Immers (194-93) replied with 18 points and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Ricards Melderis (188-96) added 16 points in the effort for Pardaguava. Pardaguava's coach tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Limbazi will face Turiba (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pardaguava's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Riga to the arena RSU.
