Regular Season Round 18: WKK Wroclaw - Otmuchow 83-63

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked WKK Wroclaw (9-9) outleveled at home 10th ranked Otmuchow (5-13) 83-63 on Saturday. WKK Wroclaw forced 23 Otmuchow turnovers and outrebounded them 36-23 including 21 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Szymon Kiwilsza (202-97) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Jakub Kobel (184-98) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. Four WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Krzysztof Wilk (201-90) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Artur Barycza (195-86) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. WKK Wroclaw maintains seventh position in Group D with 9-9 record. Otmuchow lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with 13 games lost. WKK Wroclaw's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Wroclaw Gimbasket WRC.
