Ninth ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv won an overtime thriller edging 4th placed Bnei Hasharon by one point 90-89 on Saturday night. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 25-22 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 1-point victory in overtime. Hapoel Tel-Aviv made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Bnei Hasharon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. They share it with Maccabi Rishon. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will meet league's leader Hapoel Jerusalem on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bnei Hasharon will play against Maccabi K/G (#11) and hope to secure a win.
