Regular Season Round 17: JAC Sants - Sant Lluis 74-61

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked JAC Sants (10-7) beat bottom-ranked Sant Lluis (0-15) in Barcelona 74-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by JAC Sants. Sant Lluis was better in fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Adria Vazquez (183-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Forward Sergi Coll (194-91) contributed with 6 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. JAC Sants' coach Miki Larraz used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Cirilo Fuentes (170-89) answered with 15 points and Montenegrin forward Balsa Mirotic (197-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sant Lluis. The victory was the third consecutive win for JAC Sants. They maintain fourth place in Group C-A with 10-7 record. Sant Lluis lost their fourteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 15 games lost. JAC Sants' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Barcelona to the arena Barbera.
