Regular Season Round 17: Coin - Andujar 77-78

Important game to mention about took place in Coin. Fourth ranked Andujar (8-5) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging leader Coin (9-4) 78-77 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Coin. Coin trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 25-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-78 at the end of the game. Center Diego Perez (204-93) saved the victory by scoring 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Point guard Daniel Munoz (188-87) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Andujar's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Fran Robles (191-81) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jose Antonio Rojas (198-82) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Coin. Five Andujar and four Coin players scored in double figures. Andujar moved-up to third place in Group D-East, which they share with Cordoba. Loser Coin dropped to the second position with four games lost. Andujar will face league's leader Medacbasket in Malaag in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Coin will play on the road against Novaschool in Malaga and hope to win that game.
