Regular Season Round 19: Paris-Levallois - Limoges 80-73

An interesting game took place in Levallois where higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (9-10) was upset on the court of sixteenth ranked Paris-Levallois (6-13) 80-73 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Limoges CSP Elite won third quarter 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Paris-Levallois dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Limoges CSP Elite's 30. It was a great evening for American point guard Chris Jones (178-91, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. His fellow American import guard Jason Rich (191-86) helped adding 18 points and 5 assists. Four Paris-Levallois players scored in double figures. At the losing side FYR Macedonian-American point guard Bo McCalebb (178-85, college: New Orleans) responded with 17 points and American guard Matt Gatens (195-89, college: Iowa) scored 12 points. Limoges CSP Elite's coach tested twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Paris-Levallois maintains sixteenth place with 6-13 record. Defending champion Limoges CSP Elite dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Paris-Levallois will face SPO Rouen (#17) on the road in the next round.
