Not a big story in a game in Walbrzych where 4th ranked Miedzychod (12-6) was defeated by second ranked Gornik (15-3) 69-57 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Rafal Niesobski (189-82) who scored 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Marcin Wrobel (200-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Adam Adamski (201-87) who recorded 20 points and 5 rebounds and Marcin Chodkiewicz (200-82, agency: Promotex) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Miedzychod's coach Slawomir Szulczyk let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gornik maintains second position in Group D with 15-3 record behind leader AZS AGH Alstom. Loser Miedzychod keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Gornik will face AZS PP (#9) in Poznan in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Miedzychod will play at home against Gniezno (#12) and hope to win that game.
