The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Zaglebie's (9-8) home victory over 7th ranked Alba Chorzow (8-10) 86-63 on Saturday. Zaglebie forced 19 Alba Chorzow turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Michal Kwiatkowski (186-92, agency: Promotex) who scored 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists. Piotr Osiakowski (197-92) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Zaglebie have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place in Group C. Loser Alba Chorzow dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Zaglebie will face league's second-placed Polonia Bytom on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
