Regular Season Round 19: Pyrinto - ViVe 78-74

The game between second ranked ViVe (13-4) and ninth ranked Pyrinto (3-15) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. ViVe was defeated by Pyrinto in a tough game in Tampere 74-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ViVe. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-74. Pyrinto made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Keira Peak (175-91, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Mollie Williams (187-90, college: Washington) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Pyrinto's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Cori Coleman (173-93, college: Cleveland St.) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent.Michigan) added 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals in the effort for ViVe. Four ViVe players scored in double figures. Pyrinto maintains ninth place with 3-15 record. ViVe at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Pyrinto are looking forward to face higher ranked Espoo Team (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ViVe will play against Espoo Team (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
