Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Viterbo (10-8) won against on the road 13th ranked Ancona (3-15) 58-44 on Sunday. The game without a history. Viterbo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Viterbo had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Bulgarian forward Roksana Yordanova (184-84) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Lorenza Spirito (178-90) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Francesca De Chellis (183-98) who recorded 7 points and 14 rebounds and guard Carola Sordi (181-82) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Viterbo maintains sixth position in A2 with 10-8 record. Newly promoted Ancona keeps the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Viterbo will have a break next round.
