Regular Season Round 14: Terpsithea - Niki Lefkadas 62-77

Round 14 most important game was a victory of Niki Lefkadas over 7th ranked Terpsithea 77-62 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Terpsithea. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-62. American guard Ariya Crook-Williams (170-93, college: USC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import swingman Jasmine Gill (185-90, college: JMU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Niki Lefkadas players scored in double figures. American center Akila McDonald (193-91, college: S.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Roula Mouli (178-85) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Terpsithea. Niki Lefkadas (7-7) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Athinaikos. Terpsithea at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Niki Lefkadas is looking forward to face higher ranked Proteas (#4) in Voula in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Terpsithea will play on the road against Aris Petropolis and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
