Regular Season Round 15: Brunell - UL Huskies 76-78

The most exciting game of round 15 in the Premier League took place in Cork. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Brunell (5-9) to eighth ranked UL Huskies (3-10) 78-76 on Sunday evening. UL Huskies made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Kelsey Harris (178, college: Elon) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Sarah Benedetti (178, college: St.Francis, NY) chipped in 24 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian forward Kaylee Kilpatrick (193-93, college: New Hampshire) who recorded 24 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 blocks and forward Amy Murphy (179-99) added 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. UL Huskies maintains eighth place with 3-10 record. Brunell at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. UL Huskies are looking forward to face league's second-placed TM Hotel Cork at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brunell will play against Liffey Celtics (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
