Important game to mention about took place in Alcantarilla. Sixth ranked UCAM Jairis (11-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 4th placed Plenilunio (11-6) 66-63 in the game for the fourth place. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Plenilunio. They outrebounded Plenilunio 53-34 including 21 on the offensive glass. Serbian Branka Lukovic (190-95) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds for the winners and center Alejandra De La Fuente (193-88) chipped in 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Four UCAM Jairis players scored in double figures. Swingman Maria Bolonio (180-85) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Ana Faussurier (190-94, college: Arkansas, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Plenilunio's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. UCAM Jairis moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Leganes and Plenilunio. UCAM Jairis will play against league's second-placed Sant Adria in Sant Adria de Besos in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Plenilunio will play on the road against Leganes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
