Not a big story in a game in Warszawa where 6th ranked Shmoolky W-wa (8-10) was defeated by first ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (16-2) 75-63 on Sunday. Ksiezak Lowicz forced 19 Shmoolky W-wa turnovers. The best player for the winners was Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized German power forward Alexander Machowski (205-91) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Tomasz Rudko (186-89) who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Wiktor Nalecz (181-94) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ksiezak Lowicz maintains first position in Group B with 16-2 record. Newly promoted Shmoolky W-wa dropped to the seventh place with ten games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz will face Gimbasket PRZM (#5) in Przemysl in the next round. Shmoolky W-wa will play on the road against Ostrow Mazow. in Ostrow Mazowiecki and hope to win that game.
