An interesting game took place in Zaragoza where higher ranked FIATC Joventut (8-11) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked CAI Zaragoza (6-13) 94-83 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of FIATC Joventut. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-83. CAI Zaragoza moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Sevilla and Rio Natura Mnb. Loser FIATC Joventut keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with UCAM Murcia. CAI Zaragoza will meet higher ranked UCAM Murcia (#11) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FIATC Joventut will play against the league's leader Valencia Basket having rather not much hope for a victory.
