Very expected game when 11th ranked Bisceglie (8-13) lost on the road to fifth ranked Ortona (13-7) 68-54 on Sunday. Center Arcangelo Leo (203-81) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Gianluca Di Carmine (200-86) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Ortona players scored in double figures. Forward Mathias Drigo (202-89) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mauro Torresi Lelli (189-84) added 13 points in the effort for Bisceglie. Newly promoted Ortona maintains fifth position in B with 13-7 record. Loser Bisceglie keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Ortona will face Mola (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bisceglie will play against Giulianova (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
