Regular Season Round 18: Rosa III Radom - Start Lublin II 80-91

Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Start Lublin II (7-11) won against on the road 11th ranked Rosa III Radom (4-13) 91-80 on Sunday. Start Lublin II made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Rosa III Radom turnovers and had a 33-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rosa III Radom was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Adam Mysliwiec (200-90) who scored 32 points and 9 rebounds. Alan Czujkowski (198-90, agency: Promotex) chipped in 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Jakub Stanios (180-94) who recorded 21 points and 5 assists and center Michal Sadlo (205-94) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rosa III Radom's coach Dawid Mazur let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Start Lublin II maintains ninth position in Group B with 7-11 record. Rosa III Radom lost fifth consecutive game. Rosa III Radom at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. Start Lublin II will face higher ranked LKS Lodz (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rosa III Radom will play against KK Warszawa (#6) and hope to win that game.
