Second Stage Round 5: RIG Mark - Lobas 84-86

Eighth-ranked RIG Mark (1-9) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Lobas (7-6) in Kinna. The visitors from Lomma managed to secure only two-point victory 86-84. However their fans expected easier game. It looked good early as RIG Mark took a 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Lobas had a 24-14 second period charge getting the lead and RIG Mark was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-86. Guard Jesper Wennerholm (188-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Martin Nilsson (-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Kevin Senghore-Peterson (194-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and guard Alexander Karras (187-98) added 24 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for RIG Mark. Five Lobas and four RIG Mark players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Lobas. They moved-up to fourth place in BEHS forts, which they share with 3 other teams. RIG Mark at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Lobas' next round opponent will be league's leader Koping at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
