Regular Season Round 9: Homenetmen - Tadamon 92-77

The game between third ranked Homenetmen (6-2) and 6th ranked Tadamon (3-5) in Beirut ended with biggest points difference. Homenetmen beat guests from 92-77. The game without a history. Homenetmen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Tadamon outrebounded Homenetmen 45-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import guard Justin Tubbs (190-87, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Five Homenetmen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian swingman Branko Cvetkovic (200-84) who recorded 33 points (!!!) and Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) added 14 points and 16 rebounds respectively. Homenetmen moved-up to second place, which they share with Hoops. Tadamon lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. Homenetmen's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Champville (#9) in Dik El Mehdi and are hoping to win another game. Tadamon will play at home against Al Moutahed and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
