Rather expected game when 9th ranked Haneda Vickies (2-3) were smashed by seventh ranked Mitsubishi K. (4-1) in Nagoya 74-53 on Sunday. The game without a history. Mitsubishi K. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Mitsubishi K. outrebounded Haneda Vickies 57-39 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Haneda Vickies' players. The former international swingman Aya Watanabe (170-92) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and international center Asako Oh (189-87) accounted for 8 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Yuki Morimoto (177-84) came up with 8 points and 12 rebounds and Shibuya Satsuki (168-98) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Haneda Vickies in the defeat.
