Very expected game in Radom where 12th ranked PGE Turow (8-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Rosa (14-4) 81-71 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 10 points. American point guard Torey Thomas (178-85, college: Holy Cross) fired 18 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals for the winners. International swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-92) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. American center Kirk Archibeque (205-84, college: Fort Lewis) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four PGE Turow players scored in double figures. Rosa maintains fourth place with 14-4 record. PGE Turow at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Rosa will face bottom-ranked MKS Start (#17) in Lublin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. PGE Turow will play at home against Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
