Regular Season Round 19: Ironi Nahariya - Hapoel Holon 75-71

Very expected game when 12th ranked Hapoel Holon (5-14) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Ironi Nahariya (11-9) 75-71. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were ahead by 7 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 19-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. Ironi Nahariya brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Hapoel Holon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Cameron Clark (201-91, college: Oklahoma) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 rebounds. Niv Berkowitz (190-86, college: Marquette, agency: Avi Zilberman) contributed with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Ironi Nahariya moved-up to fourth place. Hapoel Holon at the other side stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Ironi Nahariya's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel Holon will play on the road against Hapoel Eilat (#9) and hope to win that game.
