There was no surprise in Rio Negro where 5th ranked MH Basket (10-15) was crushed by third ranked Alianza Viedma (14-12) 91-64 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Alianza Viedma led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was point guard Alexis Knecht (183-87) who scored 26 points. Agustin Ambrosino (203-90, college: BYU) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Ambrosino is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Alianza Viedma players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Dazmond Starke (201-90, college: Ky Wesleyan) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Italian swingman Matias Fioretti (199-84) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Alianza Viedma moved-up to second place. MH Basket lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 15 games lost. Alianza Viedma will have a break next round. MH Basket will play on the road against Atenas (#5) in Carmen de Patagones and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
