The game between third ranked Rosa (16-4) and 17th ranked MKS Start (3-18) in Radom on Tuesday ended with biggest points difference. Rosa outscored guests from Lublin 94-47. The game without a history. Rosa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding MKS Start to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded MKS Start 44-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. American C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Rosa players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rosa have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 16-4 record having just two points less than leader Stelmet ZG. MKS Start lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 18 games lost. Rosa will face Asseco (#7) in Gdynia in the next round. MKS Start will play at home against Slask (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
