Second Stage Round 2: Peja - Kozuv 77-76

A very close game took place in Peje between Kosovan Peja and FYR Macedonian Kozuv. Peja (1-1) got a very close home victory over Kozuv (0-2). Peja managed to escape with a 1-point win 77-76 on Wednesday evening. Kozuv was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 17-15 charge of Peja, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Ronald Davis (190-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: HMS) produced 23 points and his fellow American import point guard Ryan White (180-88, college: Texas St.) added 12 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Five Peja and four Kozuv players scored in double figures. Kozuv's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Peja will meet Sigal Prishtina on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kozuv will play against Levski 2014 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
