American-Dominican Carmen Guzman (172-85, college: UAB, agency: Merit Management Group) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Basket Landes players scored in double figures. American center Latoya Williams (192-87, college: Chipola JC) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Ivorian guard Esther Niamke (165-93, college: Louisville) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lyon. Basket Landes have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Lyon at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Mondeville. Basket Landes will play against Villeneuve D'Ascq (#4) at home in the next round. Lyon will play against Angers (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
