Rather expected game in Parana where 9th ranked Sionista (14-20) was defeated by seventh ranked San Martin Corrientes (17-15) 84-76. The guests were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 29-18 run, which allowed them to win the game. San Martin Corrientes dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Sionista's 28. San Martin Corrientes forced 19 Sionista turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jeremiah Wood (200-85, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. The former international swingman Miguel Gerlero (195-88) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four San Martin Corrientes players scored in double figures. San Martin Corrientes' coach Sebastian Gonzalez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
